TELL YOUR PASTOR TO LEAVE!
Pastors are the most essential full time care givers in the world in light of our eternal souls. It is crucial that they are frequently rejuvenated spiritually, mentally, and physically in order to preserve their own spiritual wellbeing and the tools needed to oversee and guide the saints of God. Attending key ministry conferences and camp meetings as well as regularly scheduled vacations is vital to the needs of every pastor. In Corporate America it is a must that leaders receive “on going education.” Preeminently the saints of God should be emphatic about ensuring their pastor is continually revitalized in order to bolster the wisdom and anointing of God in their lives. Even Jesus, our Chief Shepherd, in His humanity needed to “Come apart and rest a while.” All the more does the under shepherd need rest and rejuvenation! Bless your man of God with a monetary gift to make it happen, and the blessings of God will surely be upon you. In turn your pastor will impart knowledge and understanding with great joy and deep gratitude in his heart.
It is a wise church family that possesses the mindset: “If my Pastor is well fed spiritually and his soul is refreshed – then his blessings will return to the fold many times over.” For these reasons we should gladly rise up and say, “Pastor, take your family and leave!”
“And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.”
Jer. 3:15
“Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.”
Heb. 13:17
“But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.”
Acts 6:4
“17 Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. 18 For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.”

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOUR PASTOR & HIS FAMILY LEAVE?
Perhaps we should ask ourselves this question: “What goes through my mind when I set out for a conference, church camp, or family vacation?” This should surely be what we desire for our pastor and his family as well:
It feels great to drive out of town now and then to destress
Pastor and his family must be looking forward to a change of pace and enjoying beautiful scenery
Our pastor will value and impart to us the “ongoing education” he will receive while away
This is the nurturing and soul healing he and his family need at times
He will represent me and our church wherever he goes
God bless my pastor and his family as they fellowship with other ministers and saints of like faith
Lord, bless my pastor and his family with the Word they need from You to be strengthened on a personal level – Amen!
ARE YOU LIFTING UP THE HANDS OF YOUR MAN OF GOD?
When our pastor is refreshed and thriving we will reap the benefits personally, and the body of Christ as a whole will be fortified to fill the role as Aaron and Hur did long ago for their pastor – Moses. When Moses’ hands were exhausted and he could no longer hold them up on his own the people of God began to lose the battle. But, when they lifted up his hands they began to win the battle. Lift up the hands of your pastor and the battle will surely be won!
“10 So Joshua did as Moses had said to him, and fought with Amalek: and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill. 11 And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. 12 But Moses’ hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.”
Ex 17:10-12
Like we as saints of God need anointed preaching and the atmosphere of praise and worship – so does our pastor and his family need to be fed and invigorated spiritually! They too need to sit at the feet of Jesus – and listen – and be healed. Through much needed times of rest and “on going education” they will be inspired by the ministries, churches, and creativity of others. Their inspiration will compel us all to greater heights!
A pastor & his wife are essential full time care givers who watch for our souls. The precious saints of the local church are called to be essential care givers to the man of God – to watch over him with, prayer, love, care and financial support.
Please tell your pastor to leave soon! It is vital to your spiritual health and wellbeing!
