3 Principles That Make Or Break Us

Life is full of principles. Principles remain the same. Methods change. The message never changes. Principles remain true.

Allow me to share with you three simple principles that will either help you or hinder you in your life. Buckle your seatbelts! These will be so easy. These will be so easy to overlook because they are so simple and basic.

“These three principles will either define you to a great degree or destroy you to a great degree.”

Here we go.

  1. The music you listen to (Music opens our soul to the spirit world).

  2. The media choices you allow your mind, heart & spirit to feed on (We tend to become like what we feed on regularly; watching, reading, listening, seeing etc.)

  3. The people you run with (fellowship with, hang out with, want to be like etc.)

These three principles will either define you to a great degree or destroy you to a great degree.

Here are a few verses to help you as you ponder these principles.

Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;”
Eph. 5:19

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”
Col. 3:16

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Phil. 4:8

6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly; 7 And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked: 8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)
2 Pet. 2:6-8
